The Many Pleasures of Online Gaming
Regardless of which hand is dominant, right/left; that is no concern with playing games on the web. You're there to kick-back, have some fun, and play - that's really all that is of any concern. Isn't it a bit interesting that the fact you're left-handed matters in many other games/sports but not online gaming. Maybe worst case scenario you buy a left-handed mouse so it's more ergonomic; but then after that you just go online and tear it up with your favorites games. All gamers want better results, so we want to give you some gaming tips so you'll become even better.
Have the right equipment. If you only play games online once in a while, this might not be a big deal. Just do a changeover on your mouse buttons. If you know what MMORPG games are, (WOW and EverQuest, for example), then making the small investment in a nice mouse designed for left-handed people would be advisable. If you do that, then you'll see that it will improve your "game" when you go head to head with others. Just do some shopping around, make a day of it - inexpensive left mice that will get the job done aren't tough to find.
Don't be too competitive. When you're playing with others, remember what your mom said - play nice… or, be a little humble. If you can do something a lot better than someone else, be cool about it and don't bust their stones. Don't get angry or anything like that when you lose a game. If you give your congrats to the other player, then you'll be remember for it. Always look to learn when you lose because you lost for a reason, so try to find out what that reason is. This alone should make you very popular on your gaming server.
You can get great feedback simply by asking for it. Getting used to using your left handed mouses or keyboards can be tricky. When you're meeting people, try asking others if they're left or right-handed, and if you find someone who is left-handed maybe ask them if they can help you. Even if you have good control over your mouse and keyboard, it can't hurt to ask long time players for their advice on how to have a better time in the game's universe. You'll find that people love offering their "expert" advice and helping other people. When you're no longer a n00b, you will do the same to others and help them.
While it can be, and is, serious; online games are serious fun - people just want to have fun and relax. It can be easy to get so wrapped-up in something that it becomes super-serious - not good for anyone.
More importantly, if you act like a brat, the other people in your game won't have any fun either and nobody will want to play anymore. If you play with a left-handed mouse, then that's cool - just don't let it go to your head. The point about the left-handed mouse is that if you need one, get one - and just have fun.
Lately, games developers are releasing much more 3D games into the marketplace. New 3D supported devices such as Optoma 3d-xl is increasingly popular to gamers who want to get the very best 3D gaming experience utilizing 3D ready DLP projector.
