Let’s do a look at some of the characteristics of the Monarch.
Monarch optics have 95% light transmission. Nikon glass is known for their high quality and Monarch did not disappoint.
Where as a standard scope would be, for example, 3-9x, the Monarch is 3-12x.
The 3-12x and higher magnification Monarch’s have a side focus.
Standard is 42mm objective lens diameter, slightly larger than a standard 40mm scope objective lens, allowing more light to pass through the field and gives you better performance at low light.
Ring energy is very soft and easy to operate.
The Nikon Monarch scope comes in a variety of magnifications and objective lens diameters: 2-8x 32mm, 2.5-10x 42mm, 2.5-10x 50mm, 3-12x 42mm, 4-14x 42mm, 4-16x 50mm, 5-20x 44mm, 6-12x 50mm and 8-32x 50mm.
A choice of reticles is available: Nikoplex, BDC, Mil-dot and fine cross hair.
As with all Nikon scopes, the Monarch is fog proof, waterproof, shockproof and has Nikon’s lifetime warranty.
A good space is important for accurate, long distance shooting, and Nikon makes great scopes.
Install a boresighter into the muzzle of your rifle and line it up with the Nikon scope as closely as you can.•
Step 2•
Look through the scope.
Step 3•
Adjust the elevation and windage on the scope so the crosshairs overlap and only one set is visible.
Step 4•
Remove the boresighter.
Step 5•
Test the scope by firing a round at the target.
With this, your Nikon lens mount back in spotting! Nikon has completed production order lens converters and prices are quite high in these days, if compared with the original sales prices. nikon scopes
